The Village at Wedgewood Apartments management team welcomed a large number of community members and city and county officials Tuesday afternoon to celebrate the grand opening of their new 42-unit apartment complex. 


Located at 307 17th Ave, N.W. in Cairo, Wedgewood offers new affordable one and two-bedroom beautifully landscaped apartments loaded with amenities for active adults 55 and older.   

The senior complex boasts professional on-site management and 24-hour emergency maintenance.  Amenities include a state-of-art fitness center, computer center, shuffleboard and horseshoe pit, picnic pavilion with tables, and a community garden.  The energy efficient apartments feature washer an dryer, microwave, dishwasher, icemaker, ceiling fans, porches and outdoor storage.
